Privacy & data protection
Version 1.0 · Effective 6 November 2026
Information used to provide the service
Depending on the feature you use, Vexido processes sign-in identity information, a display name, optional professional/profile details, assessment context, answers, results, learning progress, preferences and support correspondence. Optional profile photos or links are processed when you provide them.
Contests may record timing and integrity signals such as departures from the contest tab. These support participation rules and review; they are not described as proof of misconduct. Do not put sensitive personal or employer-confidential information into a free-text field.
Purposes and visibility
Information is used to provide accounts, save activity, score responses, produce reports, support learning routes, respond to requests and protect the service. Recruitment sharing and promotional communications require a separate relevant choice rather than being inferred from a public contest entry.
A contest display name, public participant reference, score, time and participation record can be visible through leaderboards and verification features. Private reports and detailed answers are not automatically public. Optional profile sections and photos follow their visibility settings. Avoid using a confidential identifier as a public name.
Service providers and other recipients
Hosting, storage and sign-in services process information needed to operate the platform. A sign-in provider’s own privacy notice also applies. When a future feature uses an external evaluation, meeting, payment or messaging service, its role and the relevant sharing should be disclosed before use.
Information may be shared where necessary for a requested service, an authorised company programme, a legal obligation or the protection of users. Employer or recruiter access is not created merely because someone knows your email address. Do not assume information remains exclusively within India; hosting and service-provider processing must be considered.
Choices, requests and retention
You can change available profile visibility and notification preferences. Contact Vexido to request access, correction, closure, deletion or withdrawal of an optional permission. We may need proportionate verification to protect your account. Do not send passwords or identity documents unless a justified secure verification process has been agreed.
Records are kept for the service purpose and relevant legal, security or dispute needs. Deletion can require separating active records, audit evidence and infrastructure backups; an active-record deletion is not an assurance that every historical backup has instantly disappeared. See Account closure & retention for the process.
Children, legal basis and changes
The public platform is intended for adults. Do not submit a child’s information through an ordinary learner account. A separately approved institutional programme must address the applicable consent and safeguarding requirements.
Applicable privacy rights and obligations depend on the processing, location and provisions in force. We explain material changes to how information is used and seek fresh permission where required.
