Rules & fair play

Before you start

Read the specific contest format, opening and closing times, permitted tools and marking scheme. One saved attempt is allowed per account per contest.

Timing and scoring

Each question has its own time limit within the overall contest limit. Timers continue during disconnection. Answers are final; skipping is allowed. Correct answers receive the displayed marks, and matrix questions may receive partial credit. There is no negative marking.

Ranking

Higher scores rank first. Lower answering time breaks score ties; exact ties share a rank. Compare results within the same contest edition and format.

Independent participation

Use only tools expressly allowed by the contest. Do not share live questions or answer keys, impersonate another participant or automate answers. Randomisation, rapid-answer signals and reported tab departures support review; these signals alone do not prove misconduct. Contests are not proctored.

Review and questions

Existing attempts keep their original question set and format. Worked explanations unlock after closing. Raise a concern through the contest review workspace, with the contest and question reference.
