Vexido Publications LLP strives to ensure transparency and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or cancellations may be requested and processed.
Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to payments made for:
- Article Processing Charges (APCs).
- Subscriptions to journals or other services.
- Workshops, seminars, or event registrations organized by Vexido Publications LLP.
General Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not provided for services once they have been delivered or initiated. Exceptions are outlined below.
APC Refunds
APCs are non-refundable once the article has undergone editorial or peer review. Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Duplicate Payment: A full refund will be issued if duplicate payments are made for the same manuscript.
- Withdrawal Before Review: If the author withdraws the manuscript before peer review begins, a partial refund may be issued after deducting administrative fees.
- Journal Error: If the journal cancels the publication due to technical or editorial issues, a full refund will be provided.
APC No Refund Scenarios
- If the manuscript has been peer-reviewed or accepted for publication.
- If the author withdraws the manuscript after peer review or acceptance.
Subscription - Eligible Refunds
- Refunds may be granted if a subscription is canceled within 7 days of purchase and no content has been accessed or downloaded.
Subscription - No Refund Scenarios
- If the subscription has been used to access content or services.
- If the cancellation request is made after 7 days from the purchase date.
Event Registrations - Cancellations by Participants
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event: Full refund minus administrative fees.
- Cancellations made 15–29 days before the event: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event: No refund.
Event Registrations - Cancellations by Vexido Publications LLP
If an event is canceled or rescheduled by Vexido Publications LLP, participants will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled event.
Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@vexido.com with proof of payment.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested in writing via email and are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
